Freda is one of the many beautiful ladies of ....... a family run dairy cattle farm situated in the stunning Yorkshire Dales.

As a rule of thumb, I like to paint my cows from photographs that I take. This way I can really get to enjoy the personality of the animal. However sometimes I have to make an exception! This photograph was kindly donated to me by The Home Farmer after I saw the snap shot on their Instagram. It made my day and I knew it would make a fantastic painting. Luckily for me The Spence Family were as eager to see Freda painted as much as I was to paint her.

I am planning a trip to meet Freda in person to present her with her portrait!

This painting makes me smile no end and would look fantastic on any wall.
