As we all know it’s the personality of Cows that I just adore. They have such a curious nature, and this painting of a Sadler bullock enjoying the sun captures all of that trademark curiosity. It catches that moment of a personal interaction, just before the rest of the herd ascend for a nosey!
When I first picked up a paintbrush to create what would be the first of Lauren’s Cows, I wanted something that would provide a window into the countryside I so loved to hang in my London flat. I wanted this painting to provide that same respite, a piece of artwork that gives that peaceful nostalgia that a field of cattle give me.
With a thick coat full of purple, pink and blue tones this giclee print is truly captivating and is a contemporary twist on a British landscape.
