Original painting of young Highland Cow Roo enjoying the sun. Highland Cattle are such magnificent beasts with their long scruffy locks and giant horns. Well, Roo may still be working on his horns, but that doesn’t mean he lacks presence. His character shines through. 

I have great fun playing with colour as I work and with those highlights of pink and lemon, you can really feel the warm glow of the sun on his cheeks. Your own, personal patch of bright blue sky!
