Sonny new

Meet Sonny, the curious little Herdwick lamb who’s not shy about making friends. I always knew cows were curious but this little lamb is practically leaning out of the picture frame to say hello!  Caught in a charming close-up, this woolly fellow is all wide eyes, soft fleece, and sweet personality. On a personal note, my two year old boy adores sheep so this one is for him. I don’t know how it started, but he’s always on the lookout, getting so excited when he sees them in the fields. He’s been watching this painting develop, when I started, he’d point with a big grin and say ‘Bah Bah’ and by the time I’d finished it was ‘Mummy, Sheep!’ which filled me with such joy.
