Bluebell

A Guernsey Cow basking in the sun. The original painting of beloved pet cow, Bluebell was actually commissioned as a birthday present from a husband to his wife. He knew how much it would mean to his wife to see her favourite Guernsey cow captured in paint, to be enjoyed come rain or shine. 

I was so smitten with Bluebell on completion that I had to have her in the Lauren’s Cows herd.

Cattle can have a very cathartic effect and Bluebell, the beautiful Guernsey relaxing in a meadow amongst her namesake flower, the sunlight on her face feels like a breath of fresh air.
